Mayo Clinic Falcons

Logan and I have spent some time up at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester this year.  The drive was beautiful once spring hit, and our experience at Mayo was excellent.  I've been so impressed by so many things there.

On the first day we were at the clinic, Logan met a lady who was showing off a peregrine falcon.  He's been interested in peregrines for a long time, so it was really neat for him.  He talked to the lady for a long time.

She was so impressed with Logan that she later mailed him a whole bunch of falcon pictures.

The falcons at Mayo had a baby hatch, and Logan was invited to be the one to draw the name for the baby if he was able to be there.  We actually had an appointment the same day, so he was able to do it!  The baby was incredibly cute.

They called him up to the stage and asked him about his interest in falcons.

The falcon naming was on the news.  https://www.postbulletin.com/gallery/photos-peregrine-falcon-banding-at-mayo-clinic/collection_7a319016-8236-11e9-b566-6b9f17b535d6.html?fbclid=IwAR2fEFu8EB_oBmVYF2iVqHKO6cvRpUBD0R2hXoOr1ettj7ih2B9ZMEwawek

We took a bit of a scenic drive in Minnesota before heading home.
