Seminary

This was my first year teaching early morning seminary, and it was the best! I grew so much from working with these awesome students and we had such a fun year together. I'm looking forward to sleeping in after our final couple of days, but I'm also going to miss being with these kids every morning. 

Washing Braids

Me,"Did you wash your hair with your braids in?" Laurel and Abby, "Yeah."

Every. Single. Time.

They like to have little braids in their hair, but they don't like to take them out. So they just wash their hair as is and brush the part that isn't braided. This is what 6 days and several washes later looks like. 🤣 🙈At least she's clean! 🤷‍♀️

What do you do when your chocolate frosting doesn't drizzle down the sides of the cake like it's supposed to, and the cake looks sad? You add a quick glaze and sprinkles! Even more fun!  🤣

So excited to be growing up and wearing her sister's old dresses. Cute girl. ❤

Evidence of a spoiled pup. 🤣 I went downstairs to turn off lights and I saw that there were no loose blankets laying around (unusual). My sweet little pup was curled up on the couch with nothing! So, of course, I had to find a blanket just for him. He happily let me tuck him in and I could sleep content knowing he'd be warm and cozy. 🤣🤣🤣

Spring!

Spring weather was a month late this year, but it finally came. This is on the same trail just 11 days apart. What a difference!

Evening Walk

It was a beautiful evening for a walk! It was so peaceful and the bluebells are carpeting the forest floor. I love it! 

Finishing Our School Year

Three kids finished their academic school year today. Woohoo! The others are super close. Then we only have two more weeks of seminary and music classes before summer! 🌞

Logan had a sweet little helper in the kitchen. He didn't have enough counter space for the cookbook, so Laurel held it for him.

Brig, "I'm going to build a tower that I can go in!" His structure wasn't working out, so his siblings came to his aid. Funny kids.
