Virtual Roller Coaster Ride

We had some fun giving the little girls a virtual roller coaster ride.

Pretty Hair

Annie let me try something new with her hair yesterday.  I think it turned out great!

Cow Appreciation Day 2018

Cow Appreciation Day is one of our favorite traditions!  This year I simplified our costumes by buying some fabric.  Now I don't have to stick tons of spots on everyone!  Ha ha!  I also took a black sharpie to our cow ears (we'd always been brown spotted cows before) so that I could continue using them.

Moo!

This would be an amazing picture of my kids, except that Logan is showing his true feelings about being in costume.  Ha ha!

We went for lunch to meet up with some friends, and bumped into several other friends too.

Then we went back for dinner and saw some of the same friends (who also went back for dinner) and bumped into some more friends.  Lots of great minds were thinking alike!

Our local Chick-Fil-A posted 8 pictures on their facebook page from that day.  Our family was in 3 of them.  We're famous!  Ha ha!

Summer Fun

We've been having a really fun summer break with lots of swimming and lots of friend time.

I took my kids to our local waterski show.  So much fun.

Annie and Abby were able to be in a parade with their dance teacher.

Summer Randomness

Sweet Laurel.

Walmart fun.

Brig caught two viruses back to back.  He was a miserable little guy for a couple of weeks!  I pretty much spent every minute holding him; this selfie represented the most productive part of one day.  Ha ha!

More Walmart fun.

I was so relieved when this little man was feeling well enough to let me put him down!

Our three girls share a bedroom, but Laurel won't go to sleep if her sisters are in there with her.  So, we send Annie to bed in our room, and Abby into the parlor until Laurel is asleep.  Abby likes to poke her head out of the parlor and watch what Jim and I are doing every night.  She often falls asleep like this.

For a while, the kids made dinner on Thursdays and Jim made dinner on Sundays.  Recently, though, neither night had been working out.  Last Sunday the kids decided to make dinner.  Win!  I think we have a new night for the kids to cook.

Picture Party

Abby wanted a 'picture party' while I was making lunch the other day.  The big kids were doing chores, so I had some fun with the littles.

Blue eyes!

Abby took this one.  She's getting good.

Annie appeared just before we put the camera away.
