Kids Say

Abby was trying to escape me, so I said, "Hold your horses!"  Abby pointing across the room, "My horses runned away!!"

We were watching a show and a commercial came on for women's Rogaine.  Annie turned around and said, "I need some of that!"

Alex, "Mom, have you ever been out of the country?"  Me, "Yes, I've been to Russia."  Alex, "Can you and me go on a date to Russia sometime?"

Alex, "Daddy, can I jump on your oofs?"  Jim, "What is jumping on my oofs?"  Alex, "It's where I jump on you and you go 'Oof!'."

Abby, "Knock knock."  Jim, "Who's there?"  Abby, "Abby!"  Jim, "Abby Who?"  Abby, "Abby p-who!!"

Alex before heading outside, "Mom, I put on sport pants because I might want to do some sports while I'm out there."

Abby showing me a booger on her finger, "Got it!" Me, "Where'd you get that?"  Abby, "Mine!"  Me, "From your nose?"  Abby, "Uh huh."

Logan decided to run away because he didn't want to do his extra chores.  After a few minutes I went outside to make sure he hadn't actually gone anywhere.  He was swinging.  Logan, "I was going to Grandma and Grandpa's."  Me, "How were you going to get there?"  Logan, "With my bike, GPS, and food.  But first I was going to Dad's work.  I have the route memorized you know."  I'm glad he was planning to run to family.

Abby waved at a random car when we were walking into Walmart.  Abby, "I say hi."

Alex, "Someday I will go hunt for chickens."  Me, "Where will you hunt them?"  Alex, "In the woods.  I will find their nests and shoot them."
