April Fool's!
We had such a fun day! I didn't take pictures of everything, but we did so many pranks. I spent most of my day giggling! 🤣🤣🤣
Today's antics:
*I put faces on the toilets at church for a laugh with my seminary students.
*I put vanilla pudding in a mayonnaise jar and ate it as I welcomed students to seminary. I received so many disgusted looks! My own kids fell for it too.
*With help, I parked Jim's car a mile away at a friend's house. When he discovered it was gone, we had a giggly good time driving around the neighborhood while he looked for it. He couldn't figure out how it wasn't in easy walking distance. Ha ha!
*My brother pretended to believe that Jim's car had been stolen and convinced Jim he was filing a police report.
*Jim and I each received a call that our Uber ride was on its way. We still don't know who did that one!
*I changed Jim's ringtone to an obnoxious screaming sound.
*Jim hacked into my Facebook, but I caught him and kicked him out before he could do anything.
*Jim posted on Facebook that I was starting a new career as a mani/ pedicurist. I received several congratulations on the new job today.
*I glued coins to the garage floor for my coin obsessed son to find. He had fun trying to get them up.
*I put paper towels in the toes of the kids shoes. Alex was legitimately confused for a second.
*I planted pictures of Napolean Dynamite all over Jim's stuff that he would use today. When he made a purchase today, he handed his debit card over and the cashier looked at it for a long time. 🤣
*I planned an elaborate prank on my brother. His wife gave him a letter that supposedly came in the mail. It was a job offer for something he'd never want to do. Then my friend, Sarah, called him for me to confirm his stats (for the job) such as being slightly balding and 270 lbs (he's not). Joshua played along and we had a really good laugh.
*Jim warned Josh that I was going to prank him, so Sarah and I decided to move Jim's car again as punishment. This time we put it in the Walmart parking lot.
*Annie helped me put googly eyes and funny cutouts (Mr. Bean, Gollum, and Nacho Libre) on our family portraits.
*The kids made a stuffed version of Laurel laying on the couch. It was very realistic and fooled one of their friends!
*Abby made me a fake salad out of construction paper.
*I made Jim think that I'd done more pranks on his phone. (I didn't, but only because he caught me too fast). He was pretty paranoid!
*I texted my family that I'd lost my phone and would they please call me. My dad, brother, and Jim all called me right away!
*Last, but not least, I ended by writing 'Just Married' on Jim's car for him to find at the end of his work day.
