Autumn Walk

Alex and I had a nice walk through the Greenbelt this morning. 😍

Haircuts

All the girls had haircuts! We had quite a few inches cut off between all of us.

New Bike Rider

Laurel finally found her confidence on her bike! She rode all the way to the park with us! 😍

Funny Girls

I walked upstairs to go to bed, and these funny girls jumped at me! 🤣🤣🤣

Great day! It started with the kids getting to go up in an airplane for the Young Eagles program. It's such a great program.

Then we headed to Nauvoo where we served in the temple and visited some of the historical sites. 😍 We also had a nice picnic and took an accidental detour which allowed us to stop at the swinging bridge in Columbus Junction. It was a fun spontaneous little stop. 🤣

We got home later than planned, so everyone eagerly went to bed. 😴

Hair Fun

A little hair fun. We braided and twisted until we had something new. She even let me pull back her bangs. We can see her pretty eyes! (I'm trying to talk her into growing out her bangs. 🤞)

Co-op and Dance

I had some very happy little girls one day.

9am: "Mommy, it's the best day ever! We get to go to co-op AND ballet!"

10am-Noon: *nonstop giggles with co-op friends*

1pm: "Is it time for ballet?"

2pm: "Is it time for ballet?"

3pm: "How much longer until ballet?"

5pm: "It's almost time for ballet!"

5:30pm: *gets dressed for ballet*

5:40pm: *dancing while they wait to go*

These little girls enjoyed their first night of dance! 😍

1st Day Pictures

My six kiddos. 2021-2022 school year.

Side by sides for three years. They change so much! (I think it's funny that Annie has worn the same color each year and that Alex is wearing the same shirt from last year! 😆)

First Day of School

We had our first full day for all classes!

It was our first day of homeschool for the year, and also my first day as an early morning seminary teacher. Exhausting! 😴 We had a good first day, though.

Papanasi

Alexia made papanasi (Romanian doughnuts) for us. They were delicious! 😋

Swim Meet and Homecoming

Alexia had quite the day! She swam in her first swim meet and then got ready for the homecoming dance.

Logan Update

Logan has been having some fun experiences in Colorado including kayaking and catching crawdads with his Aunt Sarah, swimming with his Uncle Terrance, Paint Mines and an air museum with Alan, and a church dance with 900 youth.

He's loving his seminary, band, and choir classes, and is doing well in his homeschool subjects. (It remains to be seen how well I do as a virtual teacher! 🤣)

We miss our boy, but he's having a great experience. I love all these pictures that he sent me. 😍
