Anyway, I've had this old skirt in my fabric box for a long time and I'd been wanting to make it into something for Annie to play dress up with. I wanted it really long just for fun. She loved it.
I added the ribbon as an afterthought. All of my materials were scrap: old skirt, leftover fabric from another project, and the ribbon that I used to line the sleeves and decorate the waist came on gifts!
