The kids were healing up from their bug bites really well after our campout, until Thursday night when Logan got out of bed because he was itching. The poor kid had a MISERABLE night, and he was swollen up like a balloon the next morning. At first we thought he had a bunch of new bites, but from a different kind of insect because each one was swollen the size of a quarter. Later we realized that the bites were in the exact same spots as the old ones, so he must have had some crazy allergic reaction almost a week after the fact!
These pictures really don't do it justice, plus the swelling was starting to go down by this point.
We finally gave him Benadryl on Friday night, and by morning the swelling was gone. Weird!
