April 2016

When the weather warms up, we go outside!  Bubble machines are fun.

My sister gave us this giant inflatable ball for Christmas, so we finally tried it out.  The kids had a blast.

Whenever I braid my hair like this Abby says, "You look like Elsa!"

Annie and Logan helped Alex with reading one day.

My pretty little princess.

I love this sweet baby.

Abby turned three!  We fed the missionaries the night of her birthday, so we had a cake for dessert.

We made ooblick another day.

Sweet baby girl...

I had some great puzzle time with this girl one afternoon.

The kids made an amazing blanket, tent, and tunnel fort one day.  I love the chunky baby legs in this picture.

Cuddles...

"Mom! Take a picture!"

My aunt made me this dress when I was a baby.  Four babies have now worn it.

We played with shaving cream on another warm day.

The kids talked me into making dandelion bread, so they collected lots of dandelions for me.  It wasn't the greatest.

I did my yearly deep clean of the boys' room.  Some thoughts as I went through their things.  1. Boys! 2. I guess they don't need new clothes.  (It turned out that the ratty clothes they were wearing all the time were favorites and they were ignoring 80% of their wardrobes.) 3. THERE'S that missing library book!  4. Where did these 100 pairs of socks come from?!

So much better!

Reading during lunch is a normal thing around here.

Silliness in the car...

March 2016

Last summer, we built this playset for the kids.  For some reason it took almost a year for me to take a picture of it.  Ha ha!  It's been a great thing.

We did a lot of cooking lessons during one part of the year.

Alex thinks the features on my tablet are a lot of fun.  Silly boy.

Sweet baby.

Because life was busy after I'd been out of town for so long, we had a combined birthday party for Annie and Alex.  That was a lot of kids!

It was fun, but I don't think I'll be combining again.

We had a big enough crowd that they each chose a birthday treat.  Alex had brownies.

Annie had angel food cake.

Annie had a goal to read the Book of Mormon by the time she turned eight.  She did it!  We're so pleased with this young lady.

We celebrated birthdays separately as a family.  Annie wanted to play pie face on her birthday.

Annie's eight birthday also fell on Easter, so it was a very special day!

I don't think they get any cuter than this.

Abby loved the Elsa hat she found in her Easter basket.

Her Peeps were a hit too.
