We started the 4th of July weekend off with a (literal) bang! Friends hosted an awesome party with snacks, shooting, and fireworks. We had so much fun! This has become a favorite tradition.
It was also an opportunity to say farewell to friends who are moving out of state. One friend has been telling others that if they ever took a job elsewhere, he'd make them this cake. Well, he is the one leaving, so we made the cake for him! 🤣
Funny note: When I was writing on the cake, I had a couple of kids who were really concerned. "That's not nice Mommy! You shouldn't write that Mommy!" I assured them that it would be funny, but they didn't believe me. 🤣🤷♀️
