Christmas

We enjoyed a very relaxing Christmas at home this year.  On Sunday (23rd) we attended church, took cookies to our neighbors, and enjoyed hot chocolate ice cream floats.  We ended the night by staying up late watching Christmas movies.

I've been working on Abby's stocking for SIX years and finally completed it on the 23rd.  Abby was so excited!

I made these ones years before.  I still have two kids to go!

On the 24th we had a lot of family time, games, and made my mom's eggrolls for dinner.  We ended the evening with a Christmas devotional.

Christmas morning!  The kids even let us sleep in a bit!

Logan gave sleds to three of his siblings.  We had a very warm Christmas, but that didn't deter them.  They pulled each other around in the living room.

Annie has been wanting to decorate her bedroom, so most of her gifts were along those lines.  She was really excited about her new comforter and pillows.

Brig got stuck in a box!  Ha ha!

The kids played with their new gifts the rest of the day.

Logan has been putting on magic shows for us since he was three, so he was really excited about the magic kit he received.  He's been practicing with it constantly since.

We had a final surprise for the kids, so I told them to get in their Christmas jammies that their grandma sent and meet us under the tree.

Our surprise was a trip to the movie theatre (a rare occurrence in our family).  We had lots of comments about the big family in matching jammies.  Ha ha!
