We had a visit from St. Nicholas!

In Romania, children leave their boots out on Dec. 5 and wake up to find candy from St. Nicholas. This is a tradition that Alexia shared with us. Everyone enjoyed their little surprises. 😍

Christmas Lights

We went for a drive to look at Christmas lights and found a couple of big displays at city parks. I forgot to take pictures, but they were awesome! One of the parks even had free hot chocolate, s'mores, and Santa Claus. It was a great stop.

Annie had a band concert tonight. They sounded great!

Swim Meet

The kids had their first swim meet of the season. It was so fun watching them swim!

This was Laurel's first meet ever. I'm pretty sure she DQed in every event, but she was the cutest little thing doing it! (Update: She only DQed in one event. I'm even more impressed with this sweet little girl now!)

Alex and Abby significantly improved their times from last year. They felt really good about that and it was fun to watch!

Annie only swam for a couple of months several years ago, so she didn't have any previous times to go off of. She did great, though! I'm so impressed with how much her strokes have improved since practice began.
