Smart Girl

Annie was a couple of weeks into math before I sat with her to go over corrections for the first few lessons she'd done. I'm not sure I'm ready to re-learn Algebra 2! Now she's a month in and hasn't needed much help yet. I already feel behind! 🙈🤣

Silliness

A little silliness. The little girls put hair things all over Jim's head, and then everyone else joined in. 🤣 Jim is such a good sport!

Saxophone

Annie's band teacher talked her into learning the saxophone for jazz band. (She plays the flute in regular band.) It's fun seeing her try new things!

Breakfast

 Abby had an interesting breakfast with leftovers from our Labor Day celebrations. 🤣🙈

Alexia's 1st Day of School

The first day of school for Alexia! She says American high school is a lot like the movies. 🤣 She enjoyed her first day.

Adventure Day

We had an adventure day! First we visited Pella where we walked around, tried some treats from a Dutch bakery, and had a picnic. Our next stop was Lake Red Rock where we climbed the tower, drove completely around the lake, and enjoyed a little hike. Fun day!

Alexia's 1st Week

We had a fun first week getting to know Alexia. We did lots of swimming, plus pickle ball, a late night stop for doughnuts, playground time, shopping, and her first baseball game.
