Logan's Colorado Adventure

Logan, Annie, and I went to Colorado last month to drop off Logan. He's going to have an adventure this semester! We had a little bit of fun while we were there, saw most of our Colorado family, and tearfully said goodbye. I sure miss my boy, but I'm happy that he's getting new experiences.

Brigham's Birthday

Brigham turned 4! He's such an awesome little guy, and so spoiled as the baby of our family. We celebrated with presents, food, and friends.

He wanted a 'train cake with dinosaurs on top with a guy with a shotgun shooting the mean dinosaurs'. 🤣 Thankfully he settled for a basic cake with just dinosaurs on top. This boy is so funny!

Logan's Birthday

We had an early birthday celebration for Logan since he wasn't here for his birthday. It was a fun day!

Laurel's Birthday

Our sweet Laurel turned 6! She had a fun filled day that included Pizza Ranch, the Play Station, Half Price Books, presents, ice cream, and a movie. We sure love this little girl! ❤❤❤

She also had a birthday party. She and her friends are a sweet, quiet bunch! They played so nicely, enjoyed cupcakes, and opened presents. This may have been the easiest party ever! She wanted pink cupcakes decorated like a mermaid tail. I tried, but it looked more like a dress from the other direction. 🤷‍♀️

Sarah's Visit

My sister came to visit! We had a fun adventure while she was here. We camped for two nights, explored Maquoketa Caves (including the tough caves), and tubed down the Maquoketa River. So fun! Her visit went way too fast!

Mud monsters! We crawled through the tight caves!

After being SO hot and muddy the day before, the river felt amazing!
