'Yes' Day

Abby earned a 'yes' day a while back. We finally did it today. Her requests:

*Doughnuts for breakfast. I said yes!

*Checking out a local festival. I said yes!

*Pizza picnic at a playground. I said yes!

*Visiting the petting zoo. I said yes!

*Swimming. I said yes!

*Chocolate chip waffles for dinner. I said yes!

*A movie night. I said yes!

I didn't take pictures of everything, but we had a fun day. 😊

Girl's Camp

This week Annie had her first Girl's Camp experience and I was lucky enough to be there for half of it. These Young Women are pretty awesome!

A pending storm prompted us to cram 8 people plus ALL of our gear into my van. The girls were buried! Ha ha!

Exploring

It was only in the 60's on Monday, so we had some outdoor fun. We explored, found butterflies and dragonflies, and caught tadpoles. 😊

This was pretty neat. I took this picture when we arrived, and the butterfly had emerged by the time we left!

Air Hockey and Ping Pong

We've been wanting to get an air hockey/ ping pong table, and were thinking that's what we'd do for Christmas. Well... I saw this one on marketplace for a fraction of what these go for and made a fun impulse purchase. We've been having so much fun with it!

Color Run Volunteers

Annie and Logan volunteered with a color run. They had so much fun!

Date Night

We had a fun date. First we stopped at Hurts Donuts. We've never been there even though doughnuts are my FAVORITE. I wanted to try all of them so we got a whole box. Then we sat down and sampled almost every single one. 🤣🤣🤣 They were amazing! 🍩 I only ate about one... before we got home anyway. 🤷‍♀️🙈 Now I can't decide on a favorite. Strawberry cheesecake? Salted caramel? Caramel apple? Streusel?

After a long drive and a nice talk, we came home and played Smash Up with my new expansions. Fun fun!
