Early March

March started out nice and cold.

Jim let the girls fix his hair.

We went ice skating with some friends.

Selfie silliness

Brig created his own step stool.

Logan had some bake shop orders to fill, so Laurel got herself ready to assist.

Alex has been listening to a LOT of audiobooks lately.  He likes to listen to them while he does his schoolwork.

Helping Daddy fix the vacuum.

Brig has been obsessed with screwdrivers since that day.

Family movie night with our projector.

I pulled Annie out of school one afternoon and we had a ice cream/ shopping date.  She looked so different with these wigs on.  Ha ha!

Pi day!  I've never done pie for pi day before, but I was in a good mood so I made it happen.  Pizza is pretty rare in our house, and it's been YEARS since I've made a cheese pie.  Yum!

Logan and Alex got silly during bake shop clean up one day.

Annie also filled some baking orders.

Cute Annie

Daddy snuggles

This little guy is hilarious.

We went to our children's museum one day.

Maui had a haircut.

Abby was excited about her very first ponytail ever.

This little stinker kept unloading bookshelves one week.  I caught him in the act after he'd emptied one shelf.  The day before he'd emptied four before I discovered him!

Almost Record Breaking Snow

We had a crazy amount of snow this winter, but our family really enjoyed it (for the most part).

I took the kids sledding one snow day.  Brig did NOT like being in his snow clothes.

We had a lot more snow fall after I took this picture.  The snow piles everywhere were enormous!  The depth in our yard averaged about 3ft, while my piles approached 5 ft.

Alex came out to help me shovel several times.

We had a series of storms that dumped snow every three days for two weeks.  I needed reinforcements one day, so Jim and Annie came out to help.

I took this picture in the middle of the night.  It was SO light outside.

The kids had a lot of fun playing in the snow.

Hot chocolate to warm up!

Ha ha!

After about two weeks worth of melting, we started seeing grass!  Hooray!  It took a few more weeks for almost all of it to be gone.  (There are still some small piles in parking lots and such.)

As of today, we're 0.3 inches away from breaking the record for the snowiest winter our city has seen! 59.2 inches!!!
