Early December

I FINALLY sorted the kids clothing. All six dressers were overfull and had tons of clothing that the kids had outgrown.

Pulling out tubs to sort sizes.

Laurel had a drawer jammed full of shirts that were too small.  After I put away the small ones, this is all that was left.  Only two of those shirts were hers!  The rest were Abby's.  Yet I had an entire tub of clothing the right size in the top of their closet.  Mom fail!

I pulled all of this out of the girls drawers.  Yikes!

Donate pile!

Laurel, "Mom this doesn't fit me." Ha ha ha ha!

My sweet Alex has had a REALLY hard time learning to read.  We've come to the conclusion that he has severe dyslexia and have changed up our methods with him. It's really helping, but progress is still slow.  I was happy one day when he suggested playing this game.  Reading this many words was no small feat for him!

Brig is definitely a member of this family.  He always has a book!

It's a good day when big brother lets you lick the beater!

Alex is such a happy fun kid.

Logan loves to joke around.

End of November

The many faces of Laurel.

The many faces of Alex and Logan.

St. Louis

We traveled to a lot of new places and temples during 2018, and really enjoyed our museum pass.  St. Louis was our last trip for the year and our last opportunity to use our museum membership because before it expired.  We estimate we enjoyed $1400 worth of museum admissions on our $75 family membership.

Brig was obsessed with this little ball pit.  He played in it for a really long time, and climbed back in every time I tried to take him out.

November

I made some more progress unpacking.

We hung a rope from our tree in the backyard.  Alex has had SO much fun swinging on it.

Cute Brig.

Lunch is exhausting!

We had a field trip to a nature center.

Annie and Logan re-opened their bake shop for the holidays.  Logan had a specific service he wanted to earn money for.  He worked really hard to fill most of the orders himself and created a sweet surprise for someone.  He is such a good kid.

Wal-mart date with Abby.  Ha ha!

The kids created a couch.  Ha ha!

We haven't had much snow, but we did make snow ice cream one time.  The kids always love it!

Laurel let me put pig tails in her hair for the first time ever.  Funny girl.

Those eyes!

Annie learned how to make pie for Thanksgiving.

She had a lot of fun decorating it, and it turned out amazing!  Not only was it beautiful, but everyone raved about how good it tasted!

On Thanksgiving, we played games, had friends over for dinner, played more games, and later had more friends over for more games.  It was a great day!
